IRA Rollover Info buttonThe Ellsworth College Foundation, a 501(c)3 corporation established in 1958, benefits Ellsworth Community College and its students by raising funds for scholarships, equipment purchases and campus improvements. The Foundation maintains an endowed scholarship program with nearly 100 named scholarships awarded annually. For the current academic year, the Foundation is providing more than $180,000 in assistance to ECC and its students. Additional financial support is provided by the Ellsworth College Board of Trustees and governmental financial aid programs.

The Foundation is governed by a 21-member board, which administers funds and oversees the Office of Development and Alumni Affairs:ECC students Kelbey Barbadillo and Blane Bark

Office of Development & Alumni Affairs – Kaitlyn Bartling serves as Director of Development & Alumni Affairs with assistance from Office 2016 Foundation Gala decorAssociates Kristie Nevenhoven and Gene Newgaard. The Development Office plans special events for alumni and friends, conducts fundraising activities, and publishes a newsletter that is sent to more than 10,000 of the College’s alumni and friends.

Make a donation

You can make a donation to help today’s students at Ellsworth through our Give2Schools online donation system. It’s easy to use and can process credit cards, debit cards or electronic checks once Donate Now button/linkyou have registered into the Give2Schools system. Persons wishing to make a tax-deductible donation to the Foundation may do so by contacting the ECC Office of Development & Alumni Affairs, 1100 College Ave., Iowa Falls, IA 50126, or (641) 648-8575 or (800) 322-9235. Online giving is possible through our secure “Give2Schools” account link. A printable donation form is provided below.

Employer Matching Gifts

Many companies will match their employees’ donations to educational and non-profit organizations. Let us know if your employer will increase your gift with a coordinating donation. Please include any necessary paperwork from your employer when returning the Ellsworth College Foundation Gift Form to us.

New Ways to Give

  • This year the Foundation enrolled in the AmazonSmile program, which donates .5% of all sales to the Foundation. We encourage our friends to buy local when they can, but to think of us when they use Amazon to make purchases … click on the AmazonSmile logo below to participate.

  • The Foundation is an enrolled Thrivent Choice® organization and eligible Thrivent members can direct Choice Dollars® to us.  The grants received will help the Foundation carry out the mission of funding scholarships for deserving Ellsworth students.
