Gainful Employment

Federal regulations require colleges and universities to report information about the success of students who enroll in educational programs that lead to gainful employment in recognized fields. While all of ECC’s programs are designed to lead to either employment or college transfer, the U.S. Department of Education specifically requires the disclosure of information for programs that are one year or less in length, which includes our diploma and certificate programs.

At Ellsworth Community College, we understand that students and families should be prepared for college and informed of the employment opportunities before starting a program. The gainful employment information posted at the links below is in compliance with U.S. Department of Education requirements, and in a format prescribed and provided by that agency. Content includes general program information, estimated costs, on-time completion rates, placement rates, median debt at the time of program completion, and related occupational information.
