Become an ECC Student Ambassador

The ECC Student Ambassador Program is always looking for respectable, qualified students to assist the Admissions Office. ECC Ambassadors are an elite group of students carefully chosen to represent diverse degree programs, athletic involvements, and club/organization memberships. Ambassadors serve the College by supporting the recruiting efforts and routine affairs of the Admissions Office and other administrative offices as requested. The Ambassador program is scholarship-based; students can earn up to $1,000 a year.


  1. Education: Ambassadors must be enrolled as full-time students at ECC.
  2. Experience: Preference is given to those best qualified to work in a customer service environment.
  3. Academics: Ambassadors must maintain regular class attendance and a minimum 2.50 GPA.
  4. Abilities:
    • Able to work in an environment of shifting priorities, frequent interruptions, hectic pace, and interaction with students, staff, and/or the public.
    • Working knowledge of computer software programs, which may include Word and Excel.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including proficiency in business English, grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
    • Able to work independently and be a team player in completing assigned tasks and meeting deadlines.
    • Enthusiastic desire to demonstrate ECC school spirit.

Meet the ECC Ambassadors

Bailey Brincks, Caroll, IA

Bailey is a Freshman Equine Management Major.  Bailey loves how welcoming the ECC staff is and how hands-on the equine program is.  She likes that she gets to spend so much of her time learning more about horses.  Bailey is part of the IHSA Team at ECC and plans to work for a breeding barn after graduation.

Gabi Damiano, Iowa Falls, IA

Gabi is a Business Administration major who chose ECC because it is close to home and she gets to be more than just a number.  She is a member of Phi Theta Kappa and is on the volleyball team.  Gabi says she likes the small campus and the relationships you are able to build and appreciates the homey, welcoming feeling from everyone at ECC. Gabi plans to continue her studies and focus on marketing and sports management after graduating from Ellsworth.

Tate Lahr, Arden Hills, MN

Tate is a Freshman Biology major who chose ECC because of his close relationship with one of the football coaches, making it a great fit for continuing his athletic and academic experience.  Tate likes the culture and the people best at Ellsworth.  He plays on the Panther football team and plans to transfer to a 4-year school.

Trenton Lane, Wedowee, AL

Trent is a freshman Business major who chose to come to ECC to get his degree and ball out in football.  He loves and the support there is for students on campus.  Trenton plans to transfer to a D1 school and get his bachelor’s degree in business.

Emma Rosonke, New Hampton, IA

Emma is a freshman studying Business Administration.  She chose Ellsworth because of the caring, kind staff and how many fun activities there are for students which makes the college experience great!  She loves how Ellsworth feels like home and how close-knit the school and students are.  Emma plays on the volleyball team and plans to move back to New Hampton to start her own floral and gift store.
