ECC BPA members attend National Leadership Conference

Five members of the ECC Business Professionals of America Club attended the 2018 National BPA Leadership Conference in Dallas, TX May 9-13. Members competed against more than 5,000 students from across the United States and Puerto Rico to showcase their business skills and develop their leadership abilities. Students who competed at the National Conference, first qualified on the state level in February.
The National Leadership Conference is a culmination of the hard work and effort put in by members throughout the year. It brings students from across the country together to participate, network and compete. Activities included general sessions with keynote speakers, business meetings, leadership workshops, contests, election of national officers, and tours of Dallas!
The following students placed at the National Leadership Conference.
Merna Bonin: 1st place in Interview Skills; Top 10 Medal in Contemporary Issues.
Christina Clarke: 3rd place in Fundamental Spreadsheet Applications and received a Top 10 Medal for Managerial Accounting.
Noelle Hines: Received Top 10 Medals in Advanced Word Processing and Advanced Office Systems and Procedures
Allie Larsen and Madison Dennis also competed in several events at the Conference.
