Graduation Information

As with many things this year, graduation didn’t go as planned.  However, we are thrilled to premiere this virtual commencement ceremony and honor our graduates.  They have worked tremendously hard for every honor bestowed and deserve to be earnestly celebrated.  Graduates, we wish you all the best in your future endeavors!  Don’t forget to find your favorite graduate in our 2021 Commencement Program.  You can also find the playback of this video on our YouTube Channel.

2021 Commencement

Students who have met the requirements for graduation at the end of the Fall 2020, Spring 2021, and Summer 2021 terms will be honored at the virtual graduation commencement ceremony on Friday, May 7, at 2:00 pm CST.  The ceremony will follow ECC’s traditional format with speakers, awards, and the announcement of each candidate so graduates and their guests can safely participate in this virtual event.

Students will receive information via their college email address about the virtual ceremony.  The virtual commencement ceremony celebrates the academic achievements of our students in an online format, allowing them to share this special moment with friends and family on any device.  Students can personalize their slides with an uploaded image and ECC’s graduation social filters.

Diplomas will be mailed 2-3 weeks after commencement or after the student’s last class has been completed for December or Summer graduates.  The diploma packet will be mailed to the address of the student listed on their graduation application.

Students that are transferring to a college or university after graduation will need to send an official transcript.  You can click here for instructions on how to request your transcripts.  You can either request your transcripts to be sent immediately, at the end of term, or hold for degree.  You can fill the form out now and the form will be processed in order of receipt based on the request.  Students can print a copy of their unofficial transcript by logging into PawPass.

If you have any questions, please call Registrar Barb Klein.
