Questions about the Admissions process, specifically? Our Admissions staff is ready to answer any questions you have throughout the admissions process! Call, email, or stop by our office on the second floor of Gentle Student Center. We’re open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm (other times by appointment).

Associate Dean of Enrollment
How long have you worked at ECC? Since August of 2022.
Hometown: Pomeroy, Iowa
Education: Craig holds an Associate of Arts degree from Iowa Central Community College, a Bachelor of Liberal Studies from Iowa State University, and a Master of Education from Iowa State University.
What do you love about Ellsworth? ECC truly has a family atmosphere, and everyone makes you feel right at home. From the moment you step on campus, you're welcomed by faculty and staff who genuinely care about your success and well-being. We’re dedicated to creating a supportive, close-knit environment where students thrive both in and out of the classroom.
What Craig can do for you: Whether you have questions about academic programs, degree requirements, transferring to a four-year school, scholarships, or anything else related to ECC, I’ve got you covered. Beth Lettow
Admissions & Registration Specialist
How long have you worked at ECC? Since 2021.
Hometown: Iowa Falls, Iowa
Education: Beth earned a degree in Floriculture from Kirkwood Community College.
What do you love about Ellsworth? The students - they’re truly incredible! I also feel so lucky to work alongside an amazing team. From deans and assistant deans to advisors and coaches, we have some of the best professionals around. I love the close-knit feel of our small campus and the opportunity to really get to know our students.
What Beth can do for you: I’m here to help you get started at ECC! From submitting your application and checking the status of your transcripts to printing your class schedule on the first day, I’ll be with you every step of the way. The admissions team and I are excited to help you begin your journey at Ellsworth!

Megan Richtsmeier
Enrollment Recruiting Specialist & International Student Specialist
How long have you worked at ECC? Since 2019.
Hometown: Boone, Iowa
Education: Megan holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Animal Science and is currently pursuing a Master of Education in Higher Education with an emphasis in Community College Leadership.
What do you love about ECC? I love the people, the campus, and the close personal relationships that are built here. I also love that you can see and feel the history of the school all over campus. If you go on a campus tour with me, you'll get to hear all of my fun history facts about the campus!
What Megan can do for you: I’m here to help with a variety of things, from checking on your scholarship application and registering you for classes to guiding you through your degree plan at ECC and helping you prepare to transfer after graduation.
Fun fact about Megan: When I'm not in the office at ECC or at home playing with my son, I'm helping my husband on our family farm. It has been in my husband's family for over 150 years!

Education: He holds an Associate Degree from Ellsworth Community College and a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Northern Iowa.
What do you love about Ellsworth? What I love most about Ellsworth is the people I work with, everyone here genuinely cares about the students and is dedicated to their success. As a student, my time at ECC was not only a lot of fun, but it also opened doors to incredible opportunities. Thanks to the support and connections of my professors, I had the chance to work for the European Union in Brussels, Belgium, an experience I’ll never forget!
