The Slam Dunk of College Visits for High School Juniors & Seniors
High school juniors and seniors, get ready for the ultimate college visit day at Ellsworth Community College (ECC)! On Saturday, February 22, ECC invites students and their families to come explore the campus, learn about exciting programs, and enjoy a fun-filled day of basketball, food, and prizes at Panther Jam!
The event kicks off at 11:00 AM at the Dale Howard Family Activity Center (DHFAC) and offers something for everyone.
Explore Campus and Meet the ECC Team
Whether students are considering a degree in agriculture, equine studies, or any other field, Panther Jam is the perfect chance to get a firsthand look at what ECC has to offer. Students will have the opportunity to tour the campus, including housing facilities, and speak directly with ECC faculty and staff to get the inside scoop on academic programs and student life.
Ag and Equine students can start their day early with a special tour of Hamilton Campus beginning at 10:00 am. This is a great opportunity to see the specialized facilities and speak with instructors about the college’s renowned programs.
Students and families will also have the chance to meet with ECC student ambassadors who will share their personal experiences and answer questions about life on campus.
Free Lunch & Basketball Fun
Panther Jam participants and their guests will receive a free lunch courtesy of Great Western Dining. After fueling up, enjoy free admission to the exciting Panther basketball games. The women’s team takes the court at 1:00 pm against the Southwestern Community College (SWCC) Spartans, followed by the men’s game at 3:00 pm. It’s sure to be a day filled with competitive action and school spirit!
For students with a musical talent, Panther Jam offers the chance to join the ECC Pep Band for day. Simply bring your instrument and play alongside the band, adding to the excitement and energy of the day.
