The Dale Howard Family Activity Center will fully open to the community
IOWA FALLS – Beginning May 10, 2021, the Iowa Falls community will be able to utilize the Dale Howard Family Activity Center (DHFAC) on Ellsworth Community College’s campus without restriction, though members will still be required to wear masks while in the building. This return to mostly standard operating procedures happens after more than a year of closure and restricted use.
The DHFAC will return to its normal hours of 5:30 AM – 9 PM Monday through Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM on Saturday, and 12 PM – 5 PM on Sunday. The locker rooms, Panther Den and lounge area, and Southside of the gym will be open for community use. Memberships will also begin being charged again but will be prorated to reflect the COVID closure.
Extra cleaning procedures have been and will continue to be implemented throughout the day to accommodate for the increased traffic.
