Summer 2024 Financial Aid Application

  • IMPORTANT: Due to merging with Marshalltown Community College’s Financial Aid Office this summer, a FAFSA Correction is required to receive summer financial aid for Summer 2024 at ECC.

    You MUST log in at fafsa.gov, select “Start or Edit a 2023-24 FAFSA Form” and then select “Add/Change Schools” on the My FAFSA page. Search for Marshalltown Community College and add that school (code: 001875). Submit your changes.

    To be considered for any financial aid funds, you must be degree seeking at ECC, have your 2023-2024 FAFSA on file at both ECC and at MCC.
  • Be Registered for your summer classes before submitting this application
  • Be enrolled for at least 6 credit hours (half time) during the summer sessions to be eligible for student loans.
  • Meet satisfactory Academic Progress Policy requirements

  • SAMPLE: Full Summer Session (6), First Half Summer Session (3), Second Half Summer Session (0), Internet Courses (0) FOR A TOTAL OF 9 Summer Session credits

  • Please remember: Financial aid for the summer is based upon the length of time you attend class, the number of credit hours that you take, that you are above the minimum Satisfactory Academic Progress Standards, and academic grade level. If what you actual take is different than what you pre-register for, your financial aid will change!
